Was that a sitar?
If so, that was pretty incredible. It’s not often you hear one in western pop/rock. The lead vocalist has a nice voice. I’m not quite sure who she reminds me of, but she’s on key, so I can’t complain about the vocals. The harmonies are nice as well, as is the addition of the acoustic guitar. Good job.

Smart pop music!
Nice productions, good sound quality. I like the lyrics alot. It’s nice to hear some intelligent pop for a change! I like the lead vocals alot and I think the production does a great job of bringing the vocals out.

Bacardi Feeling … for the thinker 🙂
This is a great Pop-Song! It has everything a Pop-Song needs. Very very nice vocals. And a cleverly thought-out song structure.
To be more precise – you start with this sitar-intro. Apart from the fact that it sounds great you hit the ‘nerve of time’ At least here in Germany we got something like an ‘India-wave’ at the moment (But we are always a bit late in contrast to Uncle SAM [this goes for the waves only]). The sitar can be heard here and there again throughout the song what spices it up. Next you got this really nice acoustic-guitar part (“should we take a stand now..”) [besides: this is why I wrote Bacardi-Feeling] which finally is ended by the sitar again. Just to be followed from an overdrive-guitar leading into the next verse (with this orchestral strings in the background). A bit later on … (chorus) again the nice acoustic guitar part. But this time you make the ‘Bacardi-Feeling’ complete with this “huhu…you never know”. Finally the (last but one) chorus is transposed one chord up. An old but very effective way…to tie the listeners once again to the song.
To the mix I have nothing to add. You could press it directly to (many, many) discs.
And (best for last) you do break any (unwritten) pop-rule by giving this song such great lyrics. These are the best lyrics I ever heard in a Pop song (I think … no I am sure) Extra-Award !

Great Production! Impressive!
There’s nothing I like more when I hear a new song than being able to understand the vocals clearly. They’re right up front and every lyric is well enunciated. All of the production sounds I heard (sitar, “weird blob” sound, backup vocals, etc) were very well done. This sounds very major-label. Not really the style of music I am into but easily the best song I have heard all week. Congratulations on a fantastic project.

A Gold Record waiting to happen
I am struck instantly by the originality of the sound coming from this band. The opening is a wonderful blend of Indian instruments and Western influences. The vocals come in like a whirlwind and never disappoint. Her voice is smooth like the surface of the water but about to storm at any moment. The lyric is among the most well crafted I have seen on GB, and the production values are among the highest, including a wonderful beat and complex instrumentation. The background harmonies accent the song at just the right time. In some ways I thought his post was a joke…that this singer was already a major artist testing out new material. I cannot praise this song highly enough… it could be released tomorrow and could sell a million copies.
