BizBash Announced the Winners of the Los Angeles Readers’ Choice Awards and the First Winner of the Reality Show Event Planner of the Year Category, David Tutera
Los Angeles—June 13, 2012 –BizBash Media recognized the finalists of the Readers’ Choice Awards and announced the winners at BizBash IdeaFest L.A. at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
“We were thrilled to announce the winners of the Los Angeles Readers’ Choice Awards at BizBash IdeaFest L.A. It’s exciting to see how the nominees in each category quickly become the ‘Short List’ for event producers nationwide,” says BizBash CEO, David Adler.
BizBash Media’s Los Angeles and Las Vegas-area readers and online users nominated and then voted on finalists in 13 categories, including Event Producer of the Year, Venue Manager of the Year, and Fund-Raising Event Planner of the Year. The L.A. Readers’ Choice Awards debuted a new category, Reality Show Event Planner of the Year, where celebrity planner David Tutera rallied for his win amongst fellow nominees Colin Cowie, Shawn Rabideau, Dina Manzo and Kevin Lee. Finalists campaigned heavily, especially on social platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube and LinkedIn, resulting in over 40,000 votes.
