This band mixs world music sounds with dance music: Drum machines -loops and real instruments too, create an oriental atmosphere that travels you somewhere in Latin America or West Africa. It seems that they wanna transform dance tunes in a sophisticated / respectful music & cultural messages. But, this needs more than easy listening beats and sexy female vocalists. The whole idea of multicultural music is interesting but they must find other way to express it, dance music is too “poor” to express something so difficult because it was created to be simple and easy.
