Liquid Blue founder Scott Stephens has long held a deep appreciation for Indian culture and philosophy. His first journey to India was in 1989, when he spent two transformative months exploring the country from coast to coast. Liquid Blue made its debut in India in 2004—and returned in 2025 for a high-profile performance in Mumbai.
That year, the band had the honor of providing the dance music at the wedding reception of Bollywood star Shazahn Padamsee (Housefull 2, Rocket Singh, Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji) and Ashish Kanakia, CEO of MovieMax Cinemas and Director at the Kanakia Group. The couple exchanged vows on June 5, 2025, in Bombay, with Liquid Blue delivering the soundtrack to their star-studded celebration.
