2010 was the 15th year of existence for Liquid Blue and the band’s best year so far. Scoring a Billboard Top-5 Hit and Guinness World record got the most attention but 2010 was a record-breaking year for revenue as well. The band performed in 17 states and 4 countries during the year and did just over 100 shows, the lowest total since 1999. Despite the lower number of shows, revenue was up 30%.

The band’s world record for “Most Traveled Band” has been published in the book “Believe The Unbelievable”. Liquid Blue set this record in 2007 and adds to it every year. Currently, Liquid Blue has visited 114 countries and 402 cities. The best way to get a feel for just how many places this group has been is to watch the video for Earth Passport. The song also received a Guinness World Record for “Song Sung in the Most Languages, Billboard”.

Liquid Blue celebrated the new year at the Wynn Resort and Casino performing at their VIP party. The band featured 12 performers including five BlueGirls and the BlueBrass horn section. Over 2000 guests attended this exclusive party. The performance was “in the round”
The band makes their first trip to Vancouver, British Columbia since 2003 for an appearance Dec 3rd at the beautiful Vancouver Convention Center. It was built for the 2010 Winter Olympics and is certified LEED Platinum! That’s as “green” as it gets. Following three nights in Canada the band heads once again to Kansas City (the 4th trip in 2011).
Liquid Blue opened a big show at the MGM Grand Garden Arena featuring Sammy Hagar and Styx on November 15th. This private event had attendance of about 6000. This arena has hosted the likes of Cher, The Eagles, Elton John, Barbara Streisand, The Rolling Stones and more. Lady Gaga performed here in March for her Monster Ball tour. Ironically,

Liquid Blue made their fourth trip to Seattle on October 1st performing at the Westin Hotel. The band loves the city of Seattle and took time to visit the Space Needle and the Experience Music Project.
As the short New England tour came to and end, some performers visited the historic city of Salem. There was no snow but on Saturday night, Sept 24th the band played in the well known Ski Resort town of Stowe, Vermont at the Rusty Nail. While in Vermont the group visited the capital city of Montpelier, which is the smallest capital city in the USA and probably the most picturesque. The band made their first ever appearance in the state of New Hampshire with a two-night stint at the Chop Shop Biker Bar in Seabrook, NH. The group also took time to visit the New Hampshire capital of Concord which is the oldest statehouse in the USA.
As fall approached, Liquid Blue headed for four states in the New England region including Providence (Rhode Island), followed by two nights in Seabrook (New Hampshire) and finishing with a show in the mountain resort town of Stowe (Vermont). Some performers took a side trip to the famous witch town of Salem (Massachusetts) following the tour.
Liquid Blue performed in Providence, the capital city of Rhode Island, on Wed, Sept 21st. The band last visited Rhode Island in 2007. Both performances were at the Westin Hotel downtown.
Liquid Blue travels to Atlanta for the 2nd time in the past year to perform at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis Hotel on Aug 22nd. Then it’s the bands first trip to Alabama with a show in Birmingham.
2011 was the 65th anniversary of the Los Patronas Jewel Ball, considered the biggest, most exclusive annual social event in America’s Finest City. Liquid Blue was chosen for this “Sapphire” anniversary and the band received rave reviews, being cited as the best band the event has had in over 13 years. For the first part of August the band traveled north to Seattle WA, Portland OR and Ripon CA (near Sacramento) followed by a trip to the deep south. This is the group’s fourth trip to Seattle with another coming two months later in October. It was the first trip to Portland, America’s greenest city.
On a beautiful summer day in Norwalk CA, Liquid Blue performed at an independence day celebration that included a spectacular fireworks show following the bands performance. In the closing minutes just before the fireworks the band played 4th of July classics “Born in the USA” and “God Bless the USA” and then Katy Perry’s “Firework”.
