2010 was the 15th year of existence for Liquid Blue and the band’s best year so far. Scoring a Billboard Top-5 Hit and Guinness World record got the most attention but 2010 was a record-breaking year for revenue as well. The band performed in 17 states and 4 countries during the year and did just over 100 shows, the lowest total since 1999. Despite the lower number of shows, revenue was up 30%.

The band’s world record for “Most Traveled Band” has been published in the book “Believe The Unbelievable”. Liquid Blue set this record in 2007 and adds to it every year. Currently, Liquid Blue has visited 114 countries and 402 cities. The best way to get a feel for just how many places this group has been is to watch the video for Earth Passport. The song also received a Guinness World Record for “Song Sung in the Most Languages, Billboard”.
BC Jean, a former member of Liquid Blue who was recently signed by the legendary Clive Davis to Sony Record, will perform her new song “Just A Guy” on The Rachael Ray TV show, Monday, January 17th. Winners will be announced February 28th in Las Vegas at the Spotlight Awards ceremony which is being held at MEET Las Vegas on the strip.

BC joined Liquid Blue on stage for the first time since 2003, singing the hit she wrote for Beyoncé, “If I Were A Boy”. She was in Big Bear filming a new TV series. Her debut LP on Jive Records should be released soon. BC is a former BlueGirl who was signed to a recording contract by none other than Clive Davis of Sony Records. Mr. Davis was responsible for discovering/singing Janis Joplin, Pink Floyd, Santana, Bruce Springsteen, Aerosmith, Whitney Houston and many more. BC Jean is in good company! Liquid Blue performed a private VIP show in Hollywood at the Highlands Night Club, Kodak Theater Feb 25th.
Liquid Blue performed to a packed house in New Orleans at the House of Blues on Wednesday night, March 23rd. Trombone Shorty opened the show and pleased the crowd with his legendary musicianship.
The band shown above performing and touring Kauai, Hawaii. The group stayed in Lihue. Former World Bodysurfing champion DJ Layla is shown catching a large wave at Poipu Beach. There was a “high surf advisory” in effect that day. The show was held at the Kilohana Plantation in Lihue. Over the years, Liquid Blue has visited all the major Hawaiian Islands.
Liquid Blue was in Kansas City MO once again this weekend marking their third trip in 2011. This show was for the Juvenile Diabetes Research foundation.

The band performed for the first time in Tampa, Florida this week and then headed over to the Bahamas for a show. On the road the band did three shows but were away for 11 days.
Liquid Blue made their first trip to the Bahamas since 2001 with a show on Great Guana Cay in the Abaco Islands on Friday, May 20th. The band has been heading in an Eastward direction since recent shows in Hawaii; followed by Santa Barbara; then Kansas City; Tampa Bay and then directly to the Bahamas.
Legendary country artist George Strait was in the audience for the Liquid Blue show in the Bahamas and the band paid tribute by playing his song “Amarillo By Morning”. George is referred to as “The King of Country” and has more number one hits than any artist, in any genre, in history. As of 2010 he had 57 #1 hit singles! The “unplugged” version of Liquid Blue, “Two From Blue” has a new new name, “Acoustic Blue” and a new website URL, www.Acoustic-Blue.com. The group, which performed for years as a duo featuring the Grovler and Scott Stephens, has been joined by another original band member, Nikki Green. Nikki sings, plays guitar, keyboards and electronic drum.
