Liquid Blue performed two shows at GrapeFest in Dallas, Texas on Sept 18th and 19th.
Newport Beach CA hosted the Taste of Newport festival which featured the Gin Blossoms (Hey Jealousy) along with the LA All-Stars and Liquid Blue.
The Event Solutions Spotlight Awards are an annual awards presentation dedicated to recognizing the best and the brightest event professionals in the industry. The Awards are presented in a variety of categories and honor both individuals and companies for their body of work in the previous year.
Liquid Blue performed in La Jolla this weekend, following the legendary Beach Boys. The Beach Boys has had thirty-six U.S. Top 40 hits (the most of any U.S. rock band) and fifty-six Hot 100 hits, including four number-one singles. Rolling Stone magazine listed The Beach Boys as number 12 in the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. According to Billboard, in terms of singles and album sales, The Beach Boys are the No. 1 selling American band of all time.
The bands latest single, Earth Passport, has entered the Billboard Hot 100 Single Sales Chart at #40. This is the first Billboard hit for Liquid Blue! The band was in Idaho when the news was announced and celebrated at a downtown wine bar.
On an unseasonably cold evening in Bend, Liquid Blue performed an outdoor show for a large crowd which included numerous celebrities such as Joe Montana. It was the first time the band played in Bend and hopefully not the last. Bend is the home of Vocal Booth, which is a company that makes vocal isolation booths for recording.
Baja California’s biggest party, Sonido Lamas II, erupted at the Tijuana Country Club and lasted until sunrise. Liquid Blue headlined the sold-out event, which featured two elevator stages that lifted the BlueGirls high above the crowd, along with a great fireworks show.
More than 4000 fans witnessed Liquid Blue’s performance at the Taste of Edmonds concert near Seattle, Washington. The band “Asia” headlined the show performing their hit songs from the 80’s.
Liquid Blue has received a Guinness World Record for Earth Passport. The official title of the record is “Song Sung in the Most Languages – Billboard Charts”. Earth Passport was sung in more languages than any song ever to reach the Billboard Charts.
With the band’s big show in Tijuana coming up, Baja Breeze featured the group on their August issue which is distributed throughout Baja California as well as Southern CA. The July-August issue will be on newsstands by August 10th.
The world’s largest Motorcycle festival celebrates its 70th anniversary and Liquid Blue’s very own DJ, Layla Loxa is the house DJ at Monkey Rock, the hottest club at Sturgis. DJ Layla performs every night of the rally, from August 9th to the 15th. Some of the acts performing at Sturgis are listed below.

Liquid Blue made their first ever appearance in the Motor City of Detroit, playing four shows at Motor City Casino, Aug 3rd – Aug 6th. The group also made stops in Louisville KT, Cincinnati OH and Evansville IN.

Liquid Blue performed at Petco Park on July 3rd following the Padres largest crowd of their 2010 season. Over 40,000 fans attended the game and many stayed on hand for the concert. Liquid Blue has been part of San Diego Padres entertainment since 2001.

Liquid Blue made their first trip to Chicago and spent several days in the “windy city” with a Sat show.
Wednesday night the band performed at the hottest new concert venue in Las Vegas, the Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel. “The Joint” is a rock club which has featured performances by the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Bon Jovi, The Black Crowes, David Bowie, Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Alicia Keys, Nine Inch Nails, and The Killers. The Joint has been named Best New Major Concert Venue by Pollstar Magazine.
