Liquid Blue will perform at Morongo Casino on New Year’s Eve in the Mystic Lounge. This is the band’s 14th NYE event in 14 years.
Liquid Blue performed for over 1000 people at the Turning Stone Casino on Sat, Dec 20th in Syracuse, New York. The group also toured the city of Syracuse and stopped by the International Boxing Hall of Fame.
Joe Chiccarelli, who was Grammy nominated for 2008 Producer of the Year and a recipient of eight Grammy Awards, will produce two new Liquid Blue tracks on Dec 15th and 16th in Los Angeles at the Mix Room. Joe did the mixing on the bands highly acclaimed first album, Supernova.
Jessica competed in the semi-finals of Taiwanese Idol on Dec 4th and made the Top 20 (next round). Millions of viewers watched as Jess sang three Taiwanese songs perfectly and wooed the audience. Liquid Blue member Jessica Manning will compete in the semi-finals of Worldwide Taiwanese Idol on Dec 1st. The semi finals event is being held in mainland China in the city of Fu Zhou. Taiwanese Idol is similar to American Idol and draws a huge television audience in Asia. This year the event is called Taiwanese World Idol and features singers from outside of Taiwan singing in the Taiwanese language.

A former member of Liquid Blue, BC Jean, has written a song for Beyonce that peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart this month. BC is an up and coming star.
Two From Blue will be performing acoustic music at Golden Hall in Downtown San Diego on Election Night. Scott and Michael will be joined by several BlueGirls throughout the evening. Music starts at 8pm and will run to midnight.

The BlueGirls once again sang the National Anthem for the Los Angeles Lakers. This time the game was in San Diego as the Lakers hosted their annual pre-season game at the San Diego Sports Arena. The BlueGirls were also scheduled to sing at the Lakers pre-season game in San Diego last year but the game was cancelled due to the wildfires.

Liquid Blue attended the annual Posi Awards in Kansas City on September 14th due to the nomination of “If You Gotta Ask” in the Social Action category. The song won a “Posi” and the band performed it at the gala awards show.

Liquid Blue tracks Real and Pretend are both amongst the most downloaded tracks at SanDiegoReader.com for the past few weeks. Real got as high as #4 and Pretend made it to #8. The Reader (Bart Mendoza) did a short “Blurt” feature and Liquid Blue in the July 31st issue as well.
