Liquid Blue members leaped into the new year by sky-diving in Las Vegas. The jump was sponsored by Go Fast Sports And Beverage Company. It was conducted by Vegas Extreme Skydiving, the foremost skydiving company in Nevada. Four performers and two street team members made the 10,000 foot jump on January 2nd.

The compilation CD for the 2004 Dallas Songwriters Song Contest, sponsored by Gibson Guitars, has been issued with 3 Liquid Blue songs: “If You Gotta Ask” was the First Place Winner in the Pop/Rock/Alt/R&B/Urban category. “Can’t Stop It” finished 2nd in the same category as Liquid Blue went 1-2! “Real” was a winner as well, finishing 2nd in the Easy Listening category.
“Show Me Love” has been selected to be featured on a benefit CD for Tsunami victims. The CD is titled “Care Package” by “Artist of Humanity”. Liquid Blue donated the song and 95% percent of the proceeds to will go directly to aid organizations such as UNICEF.
Making Up was a Top Five Winner in the Song of the Year contest, in the World category, for Nov 2004. Song of the Year is part of VH1’s Save the Music Foundation. Judges include Grammy Award Winners, Reps from Rolling Stone Magazine and ABC Television.
PCT Music has released ABIA 2005-Select Singles, featuring the Liquid Blue track Rescue. In April of this year, PCT Music will begin major distribution of Supernova in retail stores across the USA.

Benjamin Chen, CEO of C&S Media and Liquid Blue’s agent in the People’s Republic of China, has secured a distribution contract with Shanghai Audio & Video Publishing Corporation. SAVP is the largest publishing house in China and will distribute Supernova throughout China. Liquid Blue is the first band from the United States to be signed by a Chinese company.

Scott Stephens met with long-time idol Jon Anderson in Los Angeles. “North County dance-pop band Liquid Blue continues its winning streak. The group has signed a highly lucrative distribution deal with China’s largest record company, Shanghai Audio & Video Inc., and their latest album, Supernova, will be placed in every music outlet in that country, one of the biggest music markets in the world. Back in the States, the seven-piece group recently scored a hit on Adult Contemporary Radio with their song “Real” which reached No. 9 on the radio charts of industry publication New Music Weekly, which also featured the group on the cover.
The Association of Artists for a Better World has selected the Liquid Blue song “Rescue” for their upcoming compilation CD, “Songs For a Better Planet”, which will be released in March. This is the third CD which has featured Rescue.
Real continues to move up in the Charts, reaching number five this week in the A/C (Adult Contemporary) chart. The song has also reached the #46 position on the Hot 100, which includes all catagories.
