The Westin Gaslamp was election night headquarters for the San Diego County Democratic party and Liquid Blue members (Acoustic Blue) performed at the event in downtown San Diego. Hundreds celebrated as the announcements were broadcast and election results poured in. Many party leaders and candidates were on hand including newly elected San Diego mayor Bob Filner.
